The Keysight (Agilent) 85092C is a Type-N 50 ohm RF electronic calibration (ECal) module that removes the repetition and guesswork from vector network analyzer calibration across the 300 kHz to 9 GHz range. Instead of mating and torqueing a mechanical cal kit through open, short, load and through standards, the operator connects the ECal module once and the analyzer firmware drives the entire calibration sequence.

The result is a full two-port calibration in less than half the usual time, with accuracy comparable to mechanical standards and with far fewer connector mating cycles on both the test cables and the analyzer ports. Because the process is software controlled, results stay consistent between operators and between shifts — exactly what production test and calibration laboratories require.
