Keysight 85519A Type-N Female 50Ω Calibration Kit DC-18GHz with Open Short Load Through Standards

The Keysight 85519A Calibration Kit is a precision mechanical calibration standard designed for vector network analyzer (VNA) calibration in Type-N coaxial measurement systems. Covering DC to 18 GHz, this kit provides the Open, Short, Load, and Through standards required for full one-port and two-port calibration routines including SOLT (Short-Open-Load-Through) and TRL (Through-Reflect-Line) methods.

Each standard is precisely machined to deliver repeatable and stable calibration results:

• Open Standard (Type-N Female): 85.954 ps offset delay, characterized with C0/C1/C2/C3 polynomial coefficients for accurate open-circuit capacitance modeling across frequency. Phase deviation: ≤2.0° (DC-6GHz), ≤3.0° (6-9GHz), ≤4.0° (9-18GHz).
• Short Standard (Type-N Female): 85.954 ps offset delay, characterized with L0/L1/L2/L3 polynomial coefficients for precise short-circuit inductance modeling. Phase deviation: ≤1.5° (DC-6GHz), ≤2.5° (6-9GHz), ≤3.0° (9-18GHz).
• Load Standard (Type-N Female): Precision 50Ω ±0.5Ω termination with excellent return loss: ≥42dB (DC-6GHz), ≥35dB (6-9GHz), ≥32dB (9-18GHz). Maximum input power: 0.5W.
• Through Standard (Female-Female): 244.949 ps electrical delay with 1 GΩ/s offset loss. Return loss: ≥38dB (DC-4GHz), ≥34dB (4-8GHz), ≥28dB (8-18GHz). Insertion loss: ≤0.035 dB sqrt(f/GHz).

• VNA Calibration: Full one-port and two-port SOLT calibration for Keysight PNA, ENA, and FieldFox series as well as other manufacturers' vector network analyzers
• S-Parameter Measurements: Ensures accurate reflection and transmission measurements by removing systematic errors
• Component Testing: Precision characterization of Type-N coaxial components, cables, and antennas
• Production Test: Repeatable and traceable calibration for manufacturing test stations

To maintain the high precision of the 85519A calibration kit, handle with care and avoid mechanical shock. Type-N connectors may be connected finger-tight; if a torque wrench is used, 12 lb-inch (136 N-cm) is recommended. Mount protective caps on connectors when not in use and store in a shock-resistant environment. Recommended recalibration interval: 1 year.
